The control over the proliferation of means of delivery of WMD is currently carried out in particular through the Missile Technology Control Regime which was established to limit the proliferation of ballistic missiles and unmanned WMD delivery systems. This regime complements the mechanisms provided in the NPT. Ukraine is a world-class player in the field of missile and aviation technology, so the subject of this subsection is relevant for Ukraine, both globally and in national terms.
